They told me that the classics never go out style,
but, they do. They do.
We know we might tick some people off with this topic, but this blog is our home, our speaker’s corner, if you wanna call it that way. So here we go. We know, blogposts aren’t supposed to be a rant about anything and we definitely want to keep things on the positive side, but from time to time we ask ourselves why couples dress for their weddings the way they do. Of course, this is is totally superficial and shallow and the way people dress doesn’t make them worse or better than others, it just makes them look better maybe. So, brides & grooms, why go with old fashioned stuff like an ascot (for the Germans: Plastron) plus waistcoasts with shiny patterns or big princess-like dresses, as well decorated with shiny and glossy patterns that can make someone look clumsy, when actually you could look awesome and cool? Often times it’s simply because no one told you better or because it’s a tradition to dress that way. Sure, if you feel fine and like it that way who are we to tell you any different? But when we hear people telling us they don’t like their dress or suit on their wedding day, we really wonder what whent wrong. But hey, that’s our humble opinion so don’t go hating on us now. We will stop telling you about what you should or shouldn’t do or wear and rather inspire you with some stylish people we met. We know pinterest is a good ressource for inspiration and we’re either way too lazy or too busy to update ours, but feel free to post a link to yours in the comments if you feel we might like what you got on there.
