Finally I found time to select some images of this wedding to put it on my blog and when I think back to these days in May 2018 in Portugal I can only smile. This heavily surf, 80ies, boho-influenced wedding went down over the course of three days in Portugal, a lil’ bit south of Portugal. Too many things happened to be written down, I’ll just give you a few highlights…
Friday: sunset bbq surf session on the beach with a speech by Karo and Zingel, tons of tears, smiles and laughter. Karo’s uncle proposing to his partner on the beach in a distance, still recognized by most of the guests. Result? Even more tears and smiles.
Saturday: bride and groom prep, first look, tears, first look bride’s dad, more tears, ceremony held by close friends, surprise singer songwriter appearance, delicious bbq at night, highly emotional speeches, open air dancing with several dj sets by some of the guests and bride and groom for an hour each. some things I’d better not talk about.
Sunday: open air breakfast with music and a 80ies Miami Vice theme. People looked hilarious. So so cool. This is definitely a recommendation for other couples to follow along. Tattoo artists on location, electrical tattooing and hand-poking. Off to shoot portraits for about two hours, returning to a big dinner surprise. Never ate while a fog machine was going off right below the table. Interesting.
