let's start, here's the best advice one can give you.
(and it's for free. no need to thank me, you're welcome.)
WHEN YOU LOOK AT YOUR WEDDING AS NOT THE “BEST DAY EVER” BUT AS “THE BEST IS YET TO COME,” YOU WILL FREE YOURSELF FROM THE PRESSURE OF EVERYTHING HAVING TO BE PERFECT...
I wear my heart on my sleeve and I'd love for you to do the same. I have a strong feeling that when we open up to each other and allow us to be more than service provider and client, we'll be able to create something special and meaningful together.
I see us as partners in crime. The more you allow me in, the more personal my work can become. Just think about how incredibly intimate and special to you this can get..
My main approach to photography is that I want to capture people, moments, things, that make me feel something and if they make me feel something, I can only imagine how much they can and will make you feel. I want these images to evoke deep feelings within yourselves. To not only be beautiful and artistic but also with a meaning to them and true emotion.
I strongly believe this is how your heritage should be seen by generations to come.
Most important for me is that you can and will totally be yourself on your wedding day. No overly staged photography. No dress hanging in trees or photos of rings that you don't need because you're wearing them on your fingers every day.
I want to capture you in the most authentic and personal way. I strive to capture authentic moments. Moments of your true self, your crying and your laughter. The real you.
I love weddings the most when it's all about the what and how you want this to be for you, not how you want this to be prestigious to others. It's not about how your friends and family expect you to get married or the way everybody is doing it, it's about how you want to spend this day together with your loved ones or just your soon to be married partner. It's not about how much money you put in it, but how much heart and soul you carry along the way.
Sometimes I end up being the most expensive part of the whole wedding, as the couple chose to go for a small non-wedding venue and lots of food was done by themselves and friends, but their love for photography and their desire to have these memories conserved forever, that is what means so much to them. And of course, with choosing your wedding photographer you are choosing the person who preserves these memories, a part of your legacy. I want you to value your wedding photos. You are investing in memories for a lifetime and beyond.
I provide creative, sometimes artsy wedding photography with a raw, sometimes moody, sometimes dark, always authentic approach for clients ranging from contemporary to alternative couples who want authenticity and creativity in their images. I am fascinated by human connection and as an artist and visual storyteller I love to explore the world and to capture raw emotion between people deeply in love. I love adventures and I believe in life lived as an adventure. A life enjoyed to the fullest every day.
