I’ve been shooting weddings full time since 2012 now and this wedding was just the second one I ever shot in Berlin? Seriously, I need to make it to Berlin more often, so if you’re reading this and looking for a wedding photographer in Berlin, holla at me.
Anyway, back to this wedding. It was a fun day, obviously, as weddings are meant to be, right? So nothing special about this. For me, shooting this wedding, I learnt one thing: never ever again go by taxi in Berlin when any huge exposition is on. 45 minutes wait only to get a taxi is way too ridiculous. Somehow I made it in time for the bride’s prep in their beautiful home before we headed off to the registry office. Old place, nice interior. They said yes. Next and final stop: Schloss Biesdorf for the more personal wedding ceremony, held by a friend of the couple. I do enjoy these way more than weddings in churches or town halls. One reason is that for me it’s way easier to do my job, but the main reason is that these are much more personal and emotional as they actually allow people to get emotional.
I’ll let the photos do the talking now, so please enjoy.
